AN ACT

To amend chapter 476, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to presiding judges.



Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 476, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 476.413, to read as follows:

476.413. The presiding judge of each circuit shall, within thirty days of receipt of any reports showing compliance with court operating rule 17 case processing time standards, including reports showing compliance with local goal time frames, post a copy of any such report in each court house within his or her circuit in which circuit or associate circuit court cases are heard and shall issue a press release announcing the receipt of such report and the location or locations at which the report is posted. In addition, the presiding judge shall provide one copy of any such report to any member of the press located within his or her circuit upon the member's request.
