AN ACT

To amend chapter 217, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to state purchasing.



Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 217, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 217.569, to read as follows:

217.569. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the state contracts for purchase of any goods or services manufactured, provided, or produced by the vocational enterprises program or any other vendor for the state and public institutions of the state shall be subject to competitive bidding and shall be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder.
