AN ACT

To amend chapter 210, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to reimbursement of residential care facilities providing care to children in the custody of the state.



Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 210, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 210.028, to read as follows:

210.028. Whenever a child becomes a ward of the state and is placed in foster care, as defined in section 210.700, the entity licensed in this state providing such foster care shall be reimbursed by the division of family services pursuant to chapter 207, RSMo, at a rate equal to one hundred percent of the actual cost of providing such care.
