91st General Assembly
Rep.
Sam Gaskill, a Republican, represents parts of
Barry and McDonald counties (District 131) in the Missouri House of
Representatives.
In
addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Gaskill is a beef cattle and exotic
animal rancher.
A
1950 graduate of Joplin Senior High, Rep. Gaskill received a bachelor of arts
degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1954, an MBA
from Auburn University in 1972, and an associate degree in agriculture from
Crowder College in 1978.
Rep.
Gaskill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1976 as a fighter pilot,
comptroller, and intelligence officer. Following his military service, Rep.
Gaskill worked as a realtor/appraiser in Carthage, Missouri and began ranching
in 1976.
Born
March 8, 1932, in Joplin, Rep. Gaskill has two children, Cheryl Dobson and
Carrie Gaskill.
