HB 292 -- DE SOTO ARMORY

SPONSOR:  Wagner

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Local Government by a vote of 17 to 0.

This bill designates the De Soto Armory as the William E. "Bud"
Lewis Armory.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill gives recognition to a
member who served seven terms in the state legislature.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Wagner.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
