HB 268 -- County Classification

This bill adds an additional requirement for a county to become a
county of the first or second classification.  In addition to
having an assessed valuation requirement and a five-year period
of maintaining that assessed valuation, the county's governing
body must also adopt a resolution electing to be classified as a
county of the first or second classification.
