HB 360 -- Domestic Assault

This bill decreases the penalty for domestic assault in the third
degree from a class A misdemeanor to a class C misdemeanor, when
the person knowingly puts a family or household member in
apprehension of immediate physical injury.  The bill also
clarifies that convictions for assault in the third degree, when
the victim is a family or household member, will count as a first
or second conviction when determining whether the defendant has
committed a third domestic assault, a class D felony.
