HB 39 -- Missouri Southern State College

Currently, statutes permit Missouri Southern and Missouri Western
state colleges to offer master's degrees in accounting subject to
conditions set by the State Board of Accountancy that are
applicable to other institutions offering these degrees and
subject to the approval of the Coordinating Board for Higher
Education.  This bill leaves in place the requirements for
Missouri Western and specifies that at Missouri Southern master's
programs in accounting, business, and teaching may be offered so
long as state general revenue funds are not used.  The
prohibition on using general revenue will expire on August 28,
2008.
