HB 438 -- Driver's License for Aliens

Co-Sponsors:  Lowe, Daus, Campbell

This bill allows the Director of the Department of Revenue to
require aliens, at the time of application for a driver's
license, to provide a translated and notarized copy of a birth
certificate in addition to all other required information.  The
director will promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for
the administration of this provision.

The bill also adds to the required information for driver's
license applications an individual taxpayer identification number
as an alternative to a Social Security number.
