HB 500 -- Jury Service

Co-Sponsors:  Lowe, Moore, Curls, Meiners

Under current law, a person is disqualified from serving as a
juror if that person is unable to read, speak, and understand
English.  This bill modifies that restriction so that a person is
disqualified from serving as a juror if that person is unable to
communicate in English with or without auxiliary aids and
services.
