HB 601 -- Controlled Substances

This bill creates the crime of manufacturing a controlled
substance near a school.  The crime is a class A felony.  A
person commits the offense by manufacturing or distributing a
controlled substance within 2,000 feet of school property,
including a school bus.  The term "school" includes both public
and private schools grades K-12, as well as public or private
colleges, universities, or public vocational schools.
