HB 725 -- Commercial Motor Vehicles

Co-Sponsors:  Kingery, Crawford, Schlottach

This bill puts statutory provisions regulating commercial motor
vehicle registration under the authority of the Highways and
Transportation Commission instead of the Department of Economic
Development.  This move was necessitated by reorganization under
the Governor's Executive Order 02-03 (February 7, 2002).

The bill also allows and establishes the procedure for quarterly
staggering of annual registrations.
