HB 735 -- Firefighter's Retirement System

This bill allows a self-directed deferred retirement plan program
(DROP) to be established within the Firefighter's Retirement
System of the City of St. Louis.

Currently, a member's DROP account accrues interest equal to the
percentage rate of return of the system's investment portfolio.
This bill exempts any self-directed DROP program from this
provision.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
