HB 81 -- Driving with Open Containers of Alcohol

This bill makes it illegal for the driver or any passenger in a
vehicle to possess an open alcoholic beverage container while the
car is on a highway.  This is an infraction, punishable by a fine
of up to $25.

The bill does not apply to passengers who are in vehicles-for-
hire; to passengers in the living quarters of a house coach,
house trailer, or recreational motor vehicle; or when open
alcoholic beverage containers are found in the rear of a vehicle
that does not have a trunk.
