AN ACT

To amend chapter 334, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to whistleblower protections for physicians.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 334, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 334.114, to read as follows:

            334.114. The state board of registration for the healing arts shall not discipline the license of any physician or surgeon employed by, or serving or having served, in the federal government in his or her professional capacity who engages in any whistleblower activities that are protected under federal law.
