92nd General Assembly


Rep. Paul LeVota, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 52) in the Missouri House of Representatives.He was elected to the House in November 2002.


In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. LeVotais a group manager of training and development for Sprint in Overland Park, Kan.He is also a licensed real estate salesperson and serves on the board of directors for The LeVota Appraisal Group L.L.C.


A member of St. Markís Catholic Church, Rep. LeVota is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, First Degree.He is also a member of the Little Blue River Home Owners Association; Independence PTA; American Society of Training and Development; Avila Advantage Board of Directors and board member, Mothers Against Molesters.


A 1986 graduate of Truman High School, Rep. LeVota received a bachelor of science degree in communications and political science from Central Missouri State University in 1990 and a masterís degree in business management from Baker University in 1996.


Born March 22, 1968 in Kansas City, Rep. LeVota lives in Independence with his wife, Nancy.They have two children:Meghan and Madeline.
