HB 801 -- CONVEYANCE IN PETTIS COUNTY

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Local Government by a vote of 18 to 0.

This bill authorizes the Governor to convey certain state
property located in Pettis County.  The terms and conditions of
the sale will be set by the Department of Elementary and
Secondary Education.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that recent road improvements
necessitate the transfer of the property.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Smith (118).

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
