HCS HB 912 -- MEMORIAL HIGHWAY SPONSOR: Crawford (Page) COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on Transportation and Motor Vehicles by a vote of 18 to 0. This substitute designates a portion of State Route 364 in St. Louis County from Interstate 270 to the crossing of the Missouri River, known as the Veterans Memorial Bridge, being that portion of State Route 364 extending from station 31+386.04 to station 23+292 as the "Buss Westfall Memorial Highway." The bridge is not included as a portion of the named highway. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds in FY 2005, FY 2006, and FY 2007. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this would be a fitting tribute to the late St. Louis County Executive Buzz Westfall who strongly supported and promoted the expansion of Page Avenue for the purpose of relieving traffic congestion. Testifying for the bill was Representative Page. OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee. Robert Triplett, Legislative AnalystCopyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
