HB 1073 -- Prescription Medication in Schools

This bill creates the crime of unlawful distribution of
prescription medication without a prescription in a school.  The
bill does not apply to school personnel who are responsible for
dispensing medication pursuant to law.  The crime is a class A
misdemeanor, and a second or subsequent offense is a class D
felony.  In addition, the bill creates the crime of unlawful
possession of a prescription medication without a prescription, a
class B misdemeanor.
