HB 1121 -- Open Containers

This bill makes it an infraction to possess an open container of
an alcoholic beverage while occupying a motor vehicle when the
vehicle is on the road or on the shoulder.  Current law prohibits
only the driver of a vehicle from possessing an open container.
The provision exempts recreational motor vehicles, buses, taxis,
limousines, and vehicles without a trunk when the open container
is behind the last upright seat of the motor vehicle.
