HB 1147 -- Missouri Southern State University-Joplin

Beginning with governors first appointed to the Missouri Southern
State University-Joplin board of governors after August 28, 2004,
the enumeration of counties from which five governors are chosen
is changed to include only Barry, Barton, Dade, Jasper, Lawrence,
McDonald, and Newton.  Provisions that require the appointment of
two voting members from outside the defined area of counties and
a nonvoting student member are continued.
