HB 1233 -- Health Insurance for Public Entities

Sponsor:  Dixon

This bill grants a right of subrogation to public entities that
self-insure for their health care benefits when the entity pays
the medical bills of the covered person and there is third-party
liability.  The public entity may require the covered person to
assign to the public entity his or her claim or cause of action
against the third party.
