HB 1490 -- Power of Attorney

This bill creates the crime of misuse of a power of attorney
where an agent's actions result in the unauthorized disposition
of a principal's assets for the benefit of a third party.  Misuse
of a power of attorney is a class A misdemeanor for the first
offense, unless the value of the assets is $500 or more, in which
case it is a class C felony.  Second or subsequent offenses are
class C felonies.
