HB 1516 -- Underage Drinking

This bill changes the laws regarding the supplying of alcohol to
minors.  The bill:

(1)  Makes it a class A misdemeanor for parents to provide
alcohol to their minor children;

(2)  Exempts cases where the alcohol is provided as part of a
religious ceremony; and

(3)  Makes providing alcohol to a minor a class D felony when a
person suffers serious physical injury as a direct result of the
alcohol being provided to the minor.
