HB 1593 -- Lobbyists

Sponsor:  Walker

This bill prohibits statewide elected officials and members of
the General Assembly from performing the functions of a lobbyist
within 12 months of leaving their position.  Civil complaints
alleging a violation of this prohibition will be filed with the
Missouri Ethics Commission.  Violations will result in a civil
penalty not to exceed $10,000 for each violation.
