HB 1748 -- Children in State Custody

Sponsor:  Ward

This bill requires any child taken into custody by the state
under the jurisdiction of a juvenile court to be evaluated by the
Juvenile Mental Health Review Committee created by the bill to
determine whether the child should receive a psychological
evaluation by a licensed clinical mental health professional.
