HB 767 -- State Institutions of Higher Education

This bill renames Missouri Western State College as a university
and gives the institution a statewide mission in applied learning
and a board of governors with seven voting members instead of its
current six-member board.  Unless the Coordinating Board for
Higher Education approves the continuation of associate degree
programs by July 1, 2007, Missouri Western will discontinue those
programs beginning July 1, 2011.
