AN ACT

To amend chapter 302, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to reinstatement of licenses.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 302, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 302.542, to read as follows:

            302.542. 1. Any person or nonresident whose license or privilege to operate a motor vehicle in this state has been suspended or revoked pursuant to this chapter or any other law may, as part of having his or her license or privilege to operate a motor vehicle reinstated, submit all required reinstatement fees and forms to any permanent branch office and any full-time or temporary office maintained by the department of revenue.

            2. The provisions of this section shall become effective July 1, 2005.
