AN ACT
To amend chapter 105, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to state employee donation of accrued annual leave.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 105, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 105.264, to read as follows:
105.264. Beginning January 1, 2005, all programs adopted by state departments and agencies pursuant to section 36.350, RSMo, which permit state employees to donate a portion of their accrued annual leave benefits to other state employees who have suffered serious illness or injury shall also provide state employees with the option of donating a portion of their accrued annual leave benefits directly to a specific state employee who qualifies under the program rather than or in addition to donating a portion of their accrued annual leave benefits into the pool established for that purpose. All other requirements for the program established in section 36.350, RSMo, shall apply to donations made to specific state employees or the pool.
