AN ACT

To amend chapter 162, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to legal representation of public school teachers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 162, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 162.206, to read as follows:

            162.206. When a cause of action is brought by a third party against a public school teacher in connection with his or her duties as a teacher, the attorney general of the state shall furnish, upon request of the teacher, whatever legal services are necessary.
