HB 445 -- MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Local Government by a vote of 14 to 0.

This bill allows municipalities to adopt by reference any state
statute relating to vehicle equipment regulations contained in
Chapter 307, RSMo.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2006, FY 2007, and
FY 2008.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill will save money and
time for municipalities.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Guest; and Missouri
Municipal League.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
