HB 161 -- Waste Tires

The waste tire fee expired on January 1, 2004.  This bill
reimposes the fee until January 1, 2010.

After that date, the fee will be reduced to 25 cents per tire;
and all funds collected, less the Department of Revenue's
collection cost, will go to the Department of Natural Resources
for waste tire removal from illegal dumps, grants to persons
developing uses for waste tires, and resource recovery
activities.
