HB 233 -- Property Damage to a Motor Vehicle

Sponsor:  Roorda

This bill makes it a class C felony to break into a motor vehicle
for the purpose of committing a theft.  A second or subsequent
offense is a class B felony.  Currently, the offense is a class D
felony when the property damage exceeds $750 and a class B
misdemeanor when the damage is less than $750.
