HB 282 -- Inclement Weather Exceptions to Mandatory Days of
School Attendance

Currently, school districts are allowed to reduce the number of
days in the school calendar because of inclement weather during
school year 2002-2003 and waive the requirement to schedule
make-up days in 2003-2004.  This bill makes those reductions
applicable to the 2004-2005 school year and waives the required
two-thirds make-up for 2005-2006.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
