HB 29 -- Missouri Western State College

This bill renames Missouri Western State College as Missouri
Western State University and establishes a statewide mission in
applied learning for the institution.  A board of governors is
established with seven voting members instead of its current
six-member board of regents.  Unless the Coordinating Board for
Higher Education approves the continuation of associate degree
programs by July 1, 2007, Missouri Western will discontinue these
programs beginning July 1, 2011.
