HB 389 -- Endangering the Welfare of a Child

This bill expands the crime of endangering the welfare of a minor
in the first degree, a class C felony.  Currently, a person
commits the offense if he or she produces or sells
methamphetamine in the presence of a minor.  The crime is
expanded to include producing or selling the drug within the
residence of a minor.
