HB 589 -- Hearing-Impaired Broadcasts

This bill requires, by January 1, 2006, that all television
stations located in Missouri with gross revenues in excess of $3
million a year provide real-time captioning of all local news,
weather, and sports broadcasts.  Expenditures for the captioning
are limited to 2% of the television station's annual gross
revenue.
