HB 595 -- Jury Service

Currently, doctors, chiropractors, dentists, and pharmacists may
be excused from jury service if they provide a written statement
certifying that they are providing health care services and that
serving as a juror would be detrimental to the health of their
patients.  This bill adds funeral directors to the list of
persons who may be excused from jury service if they certify in
writing that they serve the public and that jury service would be
detrimental to the public safety, health, welfare, or interest.
