HB 683 -- Child Care Subsidies Sponsor: Jolly This bill changes the income eligibility guidelines for receiving child care subsidy benefits. A child care provider will receive full child care subsidy benefits for children whose family income based on the number of dependents is 130% of the federal poverty limit. A family income between 130% and 185% of the federal poverty limit is entitled to a subsidy reduced in proportion to their income in excess of 130%. Incomes in excess of 185% of the federal poverty level are not entitled to a subsidy benefit. The Children's Division within the Department of Social Services will develop rules to become effective July 1, 2006, modifying the income eligibility criteria.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
