HB 748 -- Escape from Commitment

This bill revises the crime of escape from commitment or
detention by adding persons committed pursuant to Sections
202.700 - 202.770, RSMo, which were repealed in 1980.  The bill
clarifies that persons who remain in mental health facilities
pursuant to those repealed sections will be committing a crime if
they escape from commitment.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
