HB 800 -- Placement of Certain Special Education Students Sponsor: Lampe Currently, when a child is receiving services under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and is ready to begin early childhood services under Part B, school districts must give preference to the child's Part C service provider unless it exceeds the average cost per student of early childhood special education in the district. This bill specifies that school districts give consideration to continuing with the Part C provider when the child turns three during the regular school year and removes the reference to cost.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
