HB 81 -- Coordination of School Health Programs

This bill requires the State Board of Education to establish a
coordinated health program board by January 1, 2006.  By January
1, 2007, the health board must make available to every school
district a program to prevent obesity, cardiovascular disease,
and type II diabetes.  The State Board of Education in
cooperation with the Department of Health and Senior Services may
provide the training.  School districts have the option to
participate in the training and in the program's implementation.
