HB 897 -- Benefits for Circuit Court Judges, Administrative Law
Judges, and Their Employees

This bill provides that, effective July 1, 2006, administrative
law judges in the Division of Workers' Compensation or any
associate circuit or circuit court judge who is a member of the
judicial retirement system whose death occurred while in the
performance of their duties will be paid six times their life
insurance coverage amount.  Disability benefits for employees of
an administrative law, associate circuit, or circuit judge will
be tripled if the disability occurs while in the performance of
their duties.
