HB 971 -- Cigarettes and Tobacco Products Taxes

Sponsor:  Dempsey

This bill increases the cigarette tax by 12.5 mills per cigarette
and the tobacco tax on products other than cigarettes by 10%.
The revenue from these two tax increases will be deposited into
the General Revenue Fund.

The bill will expire four years after the effective date.
