AN ACT
To amend chapter 34, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to property and casualty insurance acquired by the state of Missouri.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 34, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 34.255, to read as follows:
34.255. The state of Missouri shall not contract or otherwise acquire any property or casualty insurance coverage from an insurance company or association which, in establishing rates for such insurance coverage for the state of Missouri, utilizes or considers any physical or catastrophic hazards, including but not limited to hurricanes, wildfires, or mud slides, which have a low probability of occurrence in the state of Missouri, or any past or prospective loss experience directly related to such hazards.
