AN ACT

To amend chapter 195, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to prescription drugs obtained outside the United States.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 195, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 195.001, to read as follows:

            195.001. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, a resident of the state of Missouri may legally purchase or acquire prescription drugs from Canada if such purchase or acquiring of prescription drugs from Canada is permitted under federal law or regulation.
