HB 1041 -- Audiology

This bill expands the practice of audiology to include the
fitting, programming, and dispensing of hearing instruments,
assistive listening devices, and other amplification systems.

The State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts is
authorized to adopt rules pertaining to consumer protection
similar to those adopted by the State Board of Examiners for
Hearing Instrument Specialists.
