HB 1083 -- Child Endangerment

This bill expands the crime of endangering the welfare of a child
in the first degree to include when a person uses methamphetamine
or amphetamine in the presence of a person younger than 17 years
of age or in a place where a person younger than 17 resides or
when a person takes, consumes, inhales, or otherwise uses
methamphetamine while she is pregnant and has reason to believe
or should have known that she was pregnant.
