HB 1471 -- Workers' Compensation Insurance

This bill changes the laws regarding Missouri's workers'
compensation residual market plan which guarantees insurance
coverage and quality loss prevention and control services for
employers.  The Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance Company will
operate as the insurer for any Missouri employer entitled to
workers' compensation insurance coverage but is unable to obtain
coverage through ordinary methods.
