HB 1486 -- Ethics

This bill prohibits public officials who are appointed by the
Governor from holding office in, or making donations to,
political parties or political organizations.  They are also
banned from participating in political campaigns.

When the Senate is notified of an appointment, a list will be
provided of the candidate's contributions to political campaigns
during the previous two years.
